Jane Bumbalough

My name is Jane Bumbalough, and I am currently serving as one of your At-Large City Council members. I am finishing my first term in City Council and so excited and thankful for the opportunity to continue to serve our community!

Heartfelt service to others has been a lifelong passion and as a Senior Home Care Provider for over 38 years, I truly believe that safety and concern for others well being is key in rebuilding a firm foundation for our city.

It has been an honor to advocate for our citizens the last four years through Richmond Housing Authority (HARC), Tax Abatement, Insurance, and Safety Committees. It has been a pleasure serving women as a Volunteer Staff member for Cross Road Christian Recovery Center for Women and Birthright, and serving on the Board of Directors for Drug Free Wayne County. I have been married to my husband Jim for over 39 years! We are proud Richmond natives and have raised our 10 children in this city that is our home!

As your elected leadership, our city team and I will work hard to bring safety back to our community, allow all of our citizens a strong and concerned unified voice, and have a strong focused support for our local businesses. We will be a city of distinction if we care for its foundation first!
